Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Tech Phoenix LTD, trading as Weblier (“we”, “us”), collects and handles personal data when you visit our website or engage us as a client. We keep it short, plain, and honest.

1. Who we are

Tech Phoenix LTD is a software development studio registered in Georgia (the country) and based in Tbilisi, Georgia. We trade as Weblier and operate the website at https://weblier.com. For privacy questions you can email us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

We collect two categories of information:

Information you give us

  • Your name, email, company, role, and any message you send through the contact form.
  • Information you share during a scoping call or in subsequent written correspondence (for example, project details, access credentials you choose to share, or materials needed to do the work).

Information we collect automatically

  • Standard server logs: IP address, user-agent, referrer, and the URL you requested. We use these for security, debugging, and to keep the site running.
  • Usage analytics, only if you consent via the cookie banner: we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies, and advertising storage is always disabled.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to you and evaluate whether we can help.
  • To deliver services under a signed engagement and communicate about the work.
  • To run and improve our website and keep it secure against abuse.
  • To meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not rent it out.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

  • Your consent — when you send us a message through the site.
  • Contract— once you engage us, to perform the services we've agreed to.
  • Legitimate interests — running the site, keeping it secure, and replying to inbound enquiries.
  • Legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting, or other statutory requirements.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers we use to operate the business — for example, cloud hosting, email, file storage, accounting, and payment processors. Each of them processes data under a written agreement that limits how they can use it.

Call scheduling. If you book an intro call through our site, we create an event in Google Calendar (a service of Google LLC, USA) containing your name, email address, any notes you include, and the chosen time, and Google generates a Google Meet link for the call. If you tick the calendar-invite option, Google also sends a calendar invitation to your email address on our behalf. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; international transfers are covered by the safeguards described in section 6. Booking details are retained like other business correspondence (section 7).

We may disclose personal data if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Weblier, our clients, or users.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may be located outside Georgia. When personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) as required by applicable law.

7. How long we keep it

  • Contact-form messages: up to 24 months from last correspondence, unless we've started a working relationship.
  • Client engagement data: for the duration of the engagement plus the retention period required by applicable tax and accounting law.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.

We delete or anonymise data when we no longer need it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll verify who you are and reply within a reasonable time.

If you're in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Cookies

Essential cookies and local-storage entries keep the site working (for example, remembering your light/dark mode preference and your cookie choice). If — and only if — you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager, a service of Google LLC) and Vercel Analytics set cookies to measure how the site is used. We do not use advertising or cross-site-tracking cookies, and you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and written agreements with providers. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we're careful with what we hold.

11. Changes to this policy

When we update this policy we'll change the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, reach out to clients directly.
