Minrenovering

Renovation has always been a black box. You hand over the keys, cross your fingers, and hope the person on the other end of that phone number is doing what they promised. Minrenovering, a Stockholm-based renovation company, wanted to be the answer to that anxiety — and they needed the technology to back it up.

We designed and built their entire digital presence: a high-converting marketing site and a custom-built client portal that now runs every live project. Homeowners log in and see exactly what's happening on-site — live progress updates, daily photo streams, status changes, invoices, messages — without ever needing to call, email, or show up.

The portal itself is a proper product, built the way the ones we inherit should have been. Postgres sits at the core, indexed around the queries that actually run. The auth boundary is written once and reused everywhere, with role-based access for homeowners, crew leads, and admins — and an audit log that records every meaningful change. Realtime channels push updates the moment site teams mark a task done. File storage keeps photo streams fast and predictable, with signed URLs instead of handcrafted gatekeeping. Anything that can happen out of the request path does — emails, SMS, invoice reminders, digest notifications and log rollups all ride a queue with retries, so one flaky upstream never blocks the user.

It's a genuinely small shift with a disproportionate effect. Minrenovering win more projects, close them faster, and receive a fraction of the support calls their competitors deal with. The work still happens on the property — but for the first time, the client experience happens everywhere else.
